REPRODUCTION JOINERY – HANDMADE IN CORNWALL

Furniture maker, Dan McLaughlin undertakes reproduction, restoration and repair projects at his workshop in St Columb Major, Cornwall. Using traditional joinery skills and techniques, Dan can reproduce pieces of architectural joinery in period styles, such as wall panelling and door frames. Old mouldings e.g. architrave or skirting, that are no longer available can be reproduced by combining different cutters or by having cutters specially made to provide an exact match. Dan also undertakes restoration projects such as the Gypsy Caravan (pictured below), as well as reproducing missing or damaged components in furniture or staircases e.g. hand turned spindles or newel posts.
